All of my visual assets are 2D illustrations made by me in Krita, using a limited color palette. I tried to create a clear distinction between the playable elements and the background elements in order to avoid confusion. The character is recognizable through color (mauve garments, orange hair) and specific silhouettes (the hat, the hair). Overall, the character’s design is striking enough that it does not require many detailed elements to stand out.
